Reviews for Lo Spirito Giusto enoteca con cucina
Review highlights
Based on 222 reviewsLo Spirito Giusto enoteca con cucina in Codroipo is widely praised for its cozy, stylish atmosphere and authentic, freshly prepared dishes that highlight local culinary traditions. The menu frequently changes based on availability, showcasing specialties such as homemade pasta, traditional cjarson, and refined regional cheeses. Guests appreciate the knowledgeable and attentive service, which balances professionalism with warmth. While the quality and taste of the food receive high acclaim, some reviewers note concerns regarding portion sizes relative to price and the lack of a visible physical menu or clear pricing. Language barriers occasionally arise but are generally overcome through friendly communication. Overall, the venue is celebrated as a must-visit for an authentic and refined Italian dining experience.
Cozy location. Fresh food prepared daily, service that tends towards formal but well prepared. The crossroads that leaves me hanging is: either the prices are 10/15% higher than I expected or the portions are poor in relation to the cost. (The menu is told at the moment as it varies with availability but no mention of the cost of the dishes nor a physical menu from which to draw)
Beautiful and recommended experience. There were 4 of us who arrived late in the evening and despite the time we were welcomed and served with kindness. The service was easy going but professional, the various dishes were offered to us with knowledge and care of the product. We opted for a mixed starter, excellent and refined cold cuts, local cheeses typical of our mountain areas. The cjarsons in both variants are highly recommended. Compliments to the staff for their commitment and care in the service and preparation of the dishes. We will definitely be back, especially to try the autumn menu!
THE BEST PASTA I’VE HAD MY ENTIRE LIFE. It’s a must when visiting Codroipo. Beautiful venue, location, staff, everything. If i could give 6 stars I would. Crazie!
We met for an aperitif, in the end we also stopped for dinner.Exceptional local dishes, homemade cjarson, phenomenal plum gnocchi, extremely tender sliced venison. The cook is an elderly lady who obviously makes traditional cuisine like in the past... highly recommended
We were very nice welcomed by stuff and also by one of the guests. Food was very good, same as desert. Enoteca is very stylish, espacially place to which we were taken to sit. Small issue is lack of English but as always in Italy we were able to communicate and get order. Food is home made, so fresh and tasty, we also got good bye drink - also home made from red fruits
Delicious food, nice staff…
I went with my family on Saturday evening for an aperitif, we had platters with cheeses and cold cuts which were spectacular to say the least, all of excellent quality, excellent service with qualified staff who explained everything in detail, a very welcoming environment... an experience that we will repeat as soon as possible and recommend it to everyone!
I had lunch with them on a Sunday, I wanted a tasty first course, I found two excellent ones, bothPlatter of cold cuts as an appetizer, excellent place, well cared for, well presented historical piecesExcellent desserts both pistachio tiramisu and creme brulee brushed in a few minutesExcellent wine selectionWaitress, cook and innkeeper at the top, traditional but with a great career, they know what they're doing..... I'll be back because as a teetotaler I wanted to taste the Friulian gin that they keep until next time..... if anyone wants to join you can get along great
